I hate to tell you this, Byron, but this is the third time this has been posted in a week. I like it, but...

Here's more truth, though, it was all fake. For more on the illusion, see website. And that's the truth and I'm sticking with it.

btw, i've seen a similar setup of a dude with 2 of those littel jet's strapped to his ankles

it wouldn't give him take off power, or the ability to maintain level flight, but it did reduce his descent rate to very low numbers... was quite cool to watch

Byron,
I swear the mountain shot at the first of that video is from the western Owens Valley in California looking southwest. That mountain to the left center is Mt. Humphreys on the Sierra Crest south of Piute Pass. I've flown over that area many times in helicopters years ago. I may be wrong, but it sure looks like it to me. That would mean the video is a fraud.

Edit. Mt. Humphreys is to the right center just coming up over the rise. It has a top that angles exactly like the one in the clip. After looking at it a few times more, I'm sure of it.

What do you mean it was all fake? The guy launched from a plane, and once in flight, had enough thrust to increase his altitude. Watch the whole movie again, I posted it here in the first thread (takes a while to load even on cable). You can see details of the wing. Why would anyone go through the trouble of making a wing with working jet engines, with sponsor stickers on it, and jump with it from an airplane if it was all fake?

I also found this one, just gliding. Not to make a point, just fun to watch:
