Toyota Land Cruiser?

More like Land Mover! I had a Duesie yesterday morning. We went for a helluva ride. It barrel rolled on me at least once. I can't recall much between the "uh-oh", and "is everyone alright" but we made it out alive.

I hurt. I think I'll have me another one, and I'll have to find another Cruiser as clean as this one was too.

Tried to dodge a charcoal grill that removed itself from the truck in front of me. The rock embankment on the roadside sent the vehicle into a roll.

Wow. Glad you're all ok. It's a good thing you all had your belts on. It is amazing what rollover damage your car can sustain without the passengers getting hurt badly - as long as they are belted.

Glad you made it out of that one OK. I would like to have one of those LCs but the MPG scare me. Maybe an FJ in a couple of years when the used ones hit the market in force.

Next time you are driving an SUV full of people on a highway and there is an object on the road, hit it. Unless it's a bank vault or something. More people die in these kind of accidents than you can imagine; usually dodging a deer @ 70 mph.

I know that it was probably just instinctual, but I am a little raw in that area since I saw someone die in front of me 4 months ago in an identical accident. Glad that you are OK!

Dear god, thats a big one. My sis-in-law is a quadrapalegic as a result of an accident just like that, in an earlier model one of those.

She was hit in the head by an object in the car as it pitchpoled, a bottle, its thought.

You were very lucky. Landcruisers are great off roaders. They should stay there.

Glad you are OK.

Did the person who "lost" their BBQ stop to assist? Curious if there would be charges laid in circumstances like this.

i was moving in the mid 80's using a toyota 4x4 pickup and had the hutch from a piece of furniture fall off onto the interstate and become kindling. woman behind me ran over some of it and blew a tire. we both stopped. hiway trooper was first on the scene and gave me a ticket for...drum roll..."spilling my load on the highway"..

glad you're okay.

speeder, I can't agree with you more. My thought process during the 250 mile trek from Dallas to where the accident happened was, if it has legs and is in the road hit the sob. I drove at night through some of the most densely populated areas for deer in the entire state. The next morning this happens, only 5 mins into my drive. ***** happens, glad we all get to live and learn.
