People forget just how bad the NFC Norse is. Man we take suck to a new level. I cannot wait to see what the line is for next week. NO should be favored by 7+, but I would not be surprised if it was 3-4 just because of all the Bears defense hype.

I wouldn't take the Saints at +2. Its cold in Chicago. Probably an inch or two of ice on the ground within the next day or so. Remember what would happend to Miami every year they would lose home field and have to play in Buffalo in January?

Well,it's on to my second favorite team.

GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(who the Seahawks nearly beat on Christmas.)

lendaddy 01-14-2007 03:00 PM

Looks like the wildcat line is Chicago -3 against the 'Aints.

The daddy might have 2 playoffs locks this season:D Chicago has no business giving anyone points.

Losers play their hearts out. Winners go home and fuch the prom queen.

Edit: That seven point line was insane. For some odd reason i see them actually beating the saints. (chicago in january), but getting killed in the superbowl.

Great game, another one brewing...only time of year I watch the whole game:p

Bill Swerski: Now, gentlemen, let me ask you this: What if Da Bears were all 14 inches tall, you know, about so high? Now, what's your score of next week's game?

Carl Wollarski: Against Da Saints?

Bill Swerski: Yes, give 'em a handicap.

Carl Wollarski: Bears 18, Saints 10. And that would finally be a good game.

Pat Arnold: Yeah, it would be a good game. Mini Bears 24, Saints 14.

Todd O'Conner: What about Ditka? Would he be mini, too?

Bill Swerski: No, he would be full-grown.

Todd O'Conner: Oh, then, uh.. Mini Bears 31, Saints 7.

Carl Wollarski: Oh, hold on. Then I change mine, too. I thought it was Mini Ditka.

Bill Swerski: Okay, gentlemen, another scenario: Da Bears, they don't make it, the plane is delayed.. and the only one who shows up is Ditka. Ditka vs. Da Saints. Okay, score, gentlemen.

Pat Arnold: Alright, after da heart attack, I gotta say Ditka 17, Saints 14. He just barely gets by.

Bill Swerski: Alright, that sounds exciting. Perhaps, you know, a late Ditka field goal.

Todd O'Conner: Bears!

Superfans: Bears!!

I was skeptical of the Bears record based on the inconsistencies of Rex Grossman, but he's matured in the last 5-6 games. The Bears make their own luck and force a lot of errors in the other teams.

They did this tonight and showed they can take advantage of it.

Fie on you naysayers, "da bearz got hart."

Craig 930 RS 01-14-2007 06:09 PM

Can't help but wonder what the Bears would be like with a mature QB.....scary good.

Advantage-'Hawks

Maybe its the endless whining by the players, coaches, and fans that irks me. Can't you just admit you lost and give the "questionable calls " bs a rest for a year or two.

Tyson Schmidt 01-14-2007 08:46 PM

The hatin' began before the Superbowl, so I call B.S. on that.

I understood everyone rooting for the Steelers last year, but it really pissed me off when everyone was saying Seattle is just a bunch of Starbucks sipping Microsoft employees.

Sure, and everyone in L.A. is in the porn business.

You can't deny that the Seahawks have never gotten any respect. I'm really not sure why everyone hates them. The Raiders I can understand, since they were a dirty playing team, but the Seahawks get no love, and I can't figure out why.

I think there is a lot of character in the players for the 'Hawks. Shaun Alexander is the best in that regard. Genuine guy.

I don't like the owner of the Seahawks...that enough?

I know, a dome team with track meet speed is HARDLY built for an outdoors game in Chicago in late January.

When we got Vick and the Falcons for the NFC title game in Philly a few years back it was cold, and you could tell all the Falcons wanted to do was get back on that warm team bus. In fact when a reporter asked vick earlier this year what he remembered most about that game, he had a one word answer, "Cold."

The Saints run probably ends this week.
