Scooby-Doo is crying...
...as are the rest of us in animation...
http://in.today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=entertainmentNews&storyID=2007-01-09T105841Z_01_NOOTR_RTRJONC_0_India-282807-1.xml It's been a hell of a couple weeks with Joe Barbera dying and now Scooby-Doo creator, Iwao Takamoto. He also created Josie and The Pussycats, Speedbuggy, Astro from The Jetsons, helped create The Flintstones, and directed the original Charolette's Web. Strange thing is this story comes from Reuters in India. The American media hasn't yet said a thing about Iwao's death. You have to give the man credit, though. He worked up to the very end of his life, which isn't bad at 82.
