Two boys abducted in rural MO found alive and well.

Amazing story. A few days ago, a young boy was abducted in a small town, not far from here. A tip on a vehicle descibed in the crime led to a house in Kirwood MO, where they found the boy. Good news certainly, but listen to this. They also found Shawn Hornbeck, who had also been abducted in 2002 in the same house!

Exactly. If he is now 15 and if he wasn't literally tied up or caged, how badly screwed up is his head that he didn't make a run for it on his own before now? And thats not even to mention what might have been done to him sexually.

I hope he can get the right kind of counseling that will eventually let him put this in the right place in his mind. Tough, tough thing to happen to anyone.

I can’t imagine the effect on the kid abducted at 11 and now 15. Talk about robbing his childhood. The 13-year old hopefully will recover.

What monster would do such a thing?

There can’t be sufficient punishment (even in the Inquisition) for a crime like this.

The more I think about this, I realize how much responsibility we all have protecting our children. It seems there are monstrous predators out there. It is up to all of us to help watch out for [b]OUR[b] children.

Agreed we all have to wathc out for all our children. But I think there's no amount of punishment that can get to these people. I'm convinced of it. And no amount of whatever society does to them is going to deter another one of them that hasn't done "it" yet. I wish it were otherwise but I think we just have an "X" amount of predators in our midst and the more of us there are the bigger that number becomes. Scares the crap outta me but I think its true.

A buddy of mine say violent crime is silently lurking all around us all the time sort of like a Great White gliding through the shallows nearly brushing your legs without you knowing about it. Every once in awhile its gonna "feed" and if you happen to be the nearest thing to feed on? Well.... Almost nothing you can do except remove each one from society as you encounter them.
