Acura TSX-good, bad??
Thinking of buying my wife a TSX. It would have to be an automatic. May buy one new or a 2-3 year old.
Any experiences, comments good or bad?? I know one issue could be the high revving(low torque) V tec engine. Thanks. |

Honda reliability is unbeatable. Good looks, performance and gas mileage to boot. A 2-3 year old one is probably not that much cheaper than a new one. They just don't depreciate too much in the first few years. factor in dealer and factory incentives/financing and sometimes new is the way to go.

I really like the TSX but it is very slow in auto form. I am also thinking about moving up to a TSX from my Acura RSX (but with a manual). A V6 is a better combo with the 4-cylinder-- check out the TL which is a superb car (except it is FWD).

Thought it would make a great ride for my wife - pretty interior, legendary 'reliability, etc.
Drove an auto TSX for a day. Gutless. TONS of road noise. Hated it. She bought a loaded manual VW New Beetle Turbo - and chipped it. ROCKETSHIP!
