Wide Tires: They aren't just for Porsche's Anymore

I just finished up my wide tire conversion on my '05 V-Rod tonight and thought I'd post a picture or two.

I dare say she looks pretty hot and I can't wait for a break in the weather to take her out for a spin.

Not really into bikes but that's cool.

What is that, sewer pipe for exhaust?

Nice. How about some other shots of your bike and exhaust? Out of curiosity, are the fasteners on your bike in metric or "standard" sizes?

Porsche had a big hand in its engine design. They do that for a surprising number of companies.

Looking sweet Leland. You've done a fair amount to that 'rod. I have just made my HD more comfortable since its my summer commuter.

I still don't know why so many people hate these bikes. It is a wonderful riding motorcycle. It looks like H-D may stop building them, at least for the US market, in the next year or so.

Damn you Jesse James!
