Recommend an online traffic school in CA?

Okay, I admit it, I got a speeding ticket in my 993.

Driving I-80 home from work in heavy traffic, going 75 in a 65 with the rest of the pack and a CHP picked me off.

Yes sir, just on my way home to see the wife and kids. No sir, no emergency. Speeding ticket - 10 over. Compliments on my cooperative attitude as he hands the ticket to me through the window.

Anyone had a good experience with an online school in CA? I have a large list and they all look/cost about the same. Looking for good experiences. My priority is getting it done quickly over rock-bottom price.

Thanks!
Colin

Just did one about two months ago. Pretty sure it was with trafficschoolonline.com. Pretty good, straight-up and not too much of the obnoxious attempts at trying to be funny I've run into with one or two of the others in the past. They handled all the paperwork too.

Oh, they didn't time each section too. On some of the old courses, I'd get done with a section in about 10 minutes but had to sit there with the window open because it had a timer thingy to ensure compliance with the state-mandated time limit. PITA. Far as I'm concerned, if I can pass the course in an hour, I ought to be able to do it in an hour. Otherwise, what does it say about the validity of the course exam?

You can always kick back and sip a beer in your shorts while you do it too - something you'd never be able to do in a "classroom" course. So I've been told anyway. . .

Have you received your official court date and fine information or do you just still have the ticket?

My wife just recently got a ticket for 57 in a 35 in the daughter's '02 VW Cabrio The officer was nice enough to ask if she was in labor as she was about 8 mos pregnant at the time. She was headed to the Dr., but not in labor.

Anyway, the official notice showed up and we were able to add $29 to the fine for traffic school, and include a SASE for them to send us back the information on traffic school including on-line options.

Haven't received that information back yet, but my wife's boss went through it a year or so ago and said it was a breeze.

I'm already at that stage - paid the fine, requested school, paid another fee to do that, got the list of approved schools. Looking for an OK one that's on my list.

Thanks for the replies. Both those mentioned are on my list, so I'll check them out and do one or the other. Beats sitting for 8 hours at "Dr. Funny's Comedy Traffic school - free Pizza!"

This is my 1st ticket in over 12 years of 911 driving. Guess I was due for it.
