To be fair, and challenge your statement a little bit...
Brady was throwing to starting wide receivers who had been
cast offs, cuts from 3 or 4 other teams in their NFL careers.
Gaffney and Caldwell are journeymen at best. Those guys rarely
get seperation from the DB downfield so Brady has to force some
in there from time to time....particularly if there is 20 sec. left and they have to move the ball. The only time you see Pats players open is if they are RBs or TEs really....

Also, several times during the game, Brady threw to a spot, and the receiver broke the wrong way.

The Pats have no one else to blame though. They learned this year that they had been cheating the reaper with cheap WRs and it finally caught up with them.

BTW... did you notice how McNabbs stats improved when the Eagles finally got a decent WR in TO? And then they drafted Reggie Brown and got a few other guys in there...so now they have recognized that they needed skill in that area.
