The speculation about the 998 is interesting...

Wikipedia is easily the best, most informative website on the entire web. It is #1 ranked sites in many countries, other than the US where it is in the Top 5.

The website's value is at least $billion, probably more...if it ever went "commercial" its market value is enourmous...but as owned by a "non-profit" organization, one has to recognize and appreciate its purity.
Not everything has to be commercial.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation

This independent analysis has wikipedia's valuation at about $600 million... this is a fun article to read.

http://www.watchmojo.com/web/blog/?p=626

Their 911 Link should be required reading for any Newbie
who signs up at PP BBS.

Why did this get moved OT? That is an excellent overview of the history of the 911.

It is easily as on topic as the 500-odd "which wheels should I get" threads.
