War With Iran
1. I have said before GW is gona "Stay the Course" and hand it off to the next prez to solve. Is this new stratedgy just another version of stay the course?
2. I would think that Cheney etall would be a devious lot, but after seeing how they planned the war so far, I just don't know anymore. Assuming that they have a trick or two up their sleeves, my guess is that if Maliki doesn't perform GW will get someone who can, namely Hakim. Then bye bye Democracy hello Dictatorship. My bet would be that Maliki is not able to live up nor really wants to live up to the new plan. 3. If Saudi, Jordan, Egypt and several of the other Gulf States goes to war with Iran, the US will back our allys and go to war with Iran as well. A new Carrier Battle group has just been deployed to the Gulf if U all recall. 4. Unless GW has a trick up his sleeve he is going to go down as one of the worst US Presidents, probably right next to LBJ. If the Iraqi war sinks the US he will be at the very bottom. GWs reliance on the Iraqis to stand up is ludicrious on face value.

Uhh ohh...hard words from a man that was cheering about invasion of Iraq just few years ago. I remember when you proposed that France, Germany et.al. should be bombed for not joining in on Iraq.
Now you're all sour grapes... my my...

And when people do come around to your way of thinking don't you think jeering them for it is kind of counter-productive? Takes a lot to admit when a person is wrong, so i say kudos to Tabs. I certainly know where he's coming from, because i once believed in this war too. Quote:
We'd been "at war" with Iraq since 1998, for sure, but Iran? |

Iran, Syria and parts of Saudi need to be "deloused" then the world can move on to being peaceful for a change.

Hey Beep I do write things that don't represent my real thoughts on the subject, thats why I am a man of wealth and taste.
I do think America should declare war on Iran, Germany and France. Grmany and France would be pushovers as all they know how do is talk. The only WMD the French have is their Garlic Breath and the Germans their Sauerkraut laden flatuence. America could put the Germans and French outa their misery with an afternoons worth of work. On the other hand the Iranians look tough as compared to the Germans and French. Who woulda thought that a bunch of Rag Headed Wogs could manuever a Super Power like the USA into a corner unless the Executive Administration were a bunch of incompetent nincompoops. This will probably be the last time in our life times at least that a Neo Con will be given the reins of power. They have had their chanch and bungled the whole deal. Even the second look strategy has bungle writen all over it.

Pretty silly. We met with China and the Soviet Union during the cold war too. Iran chose their path...we did not.

You need to come to grips with the concept of reality, and next time please do not leave out anything to suit the idea you are pushing. Blowing is the ladies job and she and I have it worked out very well thank you. No help needed on your end.

I believe that there is a good chanch GW will leave the Presidency with the US in a state of war with Iran. He isn't going to finish it , but he is gona start it. Its not something that he wants to leave undone, wiping out the Axis of Evil.
N Korea is more or less contained, China looks at Lil Kim and says, "What the fk. are U doing." Six party talks is EXACTLY the right policy course with N Korea. That way all N Koreas neighbors can persuade the lil piece of human excrement that he has erred. The US doesn't really doesn't have much to worry about with regards to N Korea. LIl Kim doesn't really have much ability to reach out and touch America. He may have a missle that has range, but it is doubtfull that he has any accurracy. The missle might land in the Pacific, Vancouver, Seattle or Mt Rainer it might even go off course and hit San Francisco. Who knows.

I find many of you Americans to be rather polarized regarding your Governmentīs actions. Many of you seem to be either spanking them vigorously with a vengeance or caressing them with a passion.
I can see where beepbeep is coming from smacked over the head for having a different opinion at one point (by tabs as an example), on the other hand it is very refreshing to hear the same person openly re evaluating his position, making himself vulnerable to remarks validating his former points of view. On the actual subject - my sincere hopes Mr Bush does not elect to go medieval on Iranīs ass. More prudent to air bomb the Iranians with toilet paper. They donīt seem to use it. That would teach the some manners..
