I tried this with audio from a music video that I wanted recently by captuing the audio into pro audio software...it worked OK but was not of CD quality. I think its GIGO, garbage in, garbage out...in other words the youtube quality is dependant on the uploading, and is not of DVD or CD quality in most cases...in the audio situation, I got a reasonably good sounding deal but not anything close to CD quality. I think you will find a similar thing with the video.

Use Firefox and the VideoDownloader add-on. The videos are Shockwave files, so you'll need a compatible player, or you can convert to .AVI, .MPEG, etc.
