Best Grandstand to see Montreal GP

I am going to the Canadian GP in June with my family. I am trying to decide which grandstand to buy tickets for. My son thinks 11 or 12 by turn one is the ticket. I was thinking the hairpin (grandstand 15) at the opposite end of the track. Anyone been there or have any suggestions?

I like the hairpin because you get to see the cars go through massive braking, there is lots of passing there, and then hear the acceleration all the way down the straight...

Once you cross the bridge from the ticket area, it's only a 5 min. walk, and you can cool off down by the canal right behind the stands if it gets too bad...

I forget the grandstand number, but we sat at the first turn at Montreal and they were the best seats we've had at any F1 race we've gone to.

The first turn is Grandstand 11 & 12 (12 comes first). That's what my son picked. I am thinking like Chris. Chris, how far from the track is the grandstand at the hairpin?

Rombo-
Were they just great at the start, or throughout the race?

Most exciting at the start, however we were able to see a good deal down the straight leading up to the turn. There was passing taking place there throughout the race.

I should mention that this was a long time ago (about 15 years or so) and I don't know if the track has been reconfigured since then. I don't think so, but I can't say for sure.

I sat at the hairpin in stand 24. There were 2 things I liked about the seating that you may want to consider. One was a great view of a big screen TV (as well as great view of the track). The other was a fast exit from the track to the metro. While everyone else was standing in line to leave, I was on the train heading home. The only drawback to stand 24 was the long walk to the concessions stands to buy the latest Schumacher stuff.

I definitely look forward to that, although I won't be driving my P-Car.
What are your thoughts on where to watch the race from?
