Grammys...

Well I guess the voters really liked country this year...

I could think of at least 5 other albums that were better than the Dixie Chicks...

I was not impressed.

Did the Police perform yet? I don't have a T.V. (it died). How'd they do?

They preformed Roxanne at the opening of the show - and that was it!
Some reunion!

I expected a couple of songs at least or maybe a medley. What a disappointment.

Police

Does anyome know somewhere you can watch the performance of the Police from last night's Grammy's? I missed it. I guess they only did Roxanne, but still would like to see. I tried Grammy.com, CBS.com. Heck, I even tried youtube (knowing it would probably not last long if it were there). I do not get it. You would think, especially since announcing that they will tour, that they would make sure that vid made it somewhere on the web, for publicity.

Yup. Decemberists, Raconteurs, Thom Yorke, John Mayer, Beck, the Shins, Gnarls Barkley. There, I just named seven.

The show was the pits. No energy, boring, slow paced.

The Police performance was lackluster.

Even the Chili Peppers who can usually be counted on for some electricity were not as exciting as usual.

Makes me wonder if it had more to do with the overall production of the show and not so much the individual performers.

I was going to watch this year, but I decided to smash my toes flat with a mallet instead.

I gave myself a root canal instead of watching the Grammys and I think I made a good choice...

I caught some of it while I was doing my ironing, overall very flat and boring. I love seeing how seriously some of them take themselves.

I thought the Police were excellent, would have loved a couple more songs.

Was I the only one hoping Sting would lift his arm to see if he shaves his pits?

The Dixie Chicks got it as Hollywood's slap in the face for President Bush.

I was helping my daughter do her taxes. Did not see any of it. I heard that they use taped backup vocals on Roxanne.

Too little, too late in my view.
