You're a good egg.<img src="http://forums.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg">
As my friend Matthew Mc says 'sometimes you have to go back to move forward...' (Such a doper!)

Wow.....
I've used this thread/situation when related discussions come up.
I'm staggered to realize it's been FIFTEEN years. holy crap.
One, good on 'ya, Motion. Glad to hear you're well, and you and your wife look like an awesome happy couple.!
Second, yes, it's interesting to see the change in guys who have posted here, and the consistency.

For my part, I've been pretty absent. I saw this notification in my email and had a second so clicked the link...In 2010 I met a woman and began dating, interrupting my plans to move west. After a year, we had a plan to combine efforts and move west. But, then an ex husband turned toxic, and plans were delayed. Then her daughter developed psychological issues, and, well, my life has been pretty much "Backburnered" since. I've spent a lot of time, money and self on the situation, and things like web boards, traveling, and Porsches are an impossible luxury these days. Not sure when or if that's going to change, and I'm trying to figure out what to do.

Point being, enjoy the world...things can change overnight, and time sure flies.

And....far worse than "life situations" getting to you, as I look over the posters here, I see guys who are no longer with us, like Ron. (RoninLB).

Great to hear this worked out and things are going well for you Motion!!!

Well you are having the time of your life now Motion - good on you. That's making it happen.

Thanks for the kind words guys, but I am just celebrating life a day at a time. Life offers no guarantees, and you never know when bad fortune can pay a visit. I'm just thankful for having such a supportive wife. I feel very fortunate.

Great thread. How's the trip going, motion? I'm living vicariously through you & your posts for now!

motion 04-08-2015 04:23 AM

Trip is going really well. I'm homesick, but I knew that would happen. I'm hoping it will start getting easier!

My princess ex-wife needed to have a certain size & brand of ring, big mistake that was getting married. The princess novelty wore off real quick other issues too, I think I got 1/3 of what I paid when we sold it back to the jeweller for scrap value, which all went to her too...

Dude. The rest of us are in 2015.

Wow, 15 years later and I'm still just as brilliant and insightful. :D
