Alice In Wonderland

When U cross over the Bridge into DC U enter into the Wonderland of the Federal Government. Nothing is real, they make reality up to suit their own agendas.

Sadam was a strong arm man, who had no use for Religion. Sadams view of Al Qaedea was that they are a bunch of whackos, a diease, an infection as it were. He would never let them into his country for fear that their infection might spread. Osma had no use for Sadam and viewed him as an infidel, even offering his Mujhadeen boyz to get rid of Sadam when he invaded Kuwait.

So how does our Government come up with that they were bedfellows? Thus defying reality.

Well U had guys like Feith as Under Secratary of Defense having a meeting with the CIA "CRITIQUING" CIA Intel ASSEMENTS.which stated there was no connection. I suppose in Wonderland there is nothing wrong with that, but in the Real World its called coercion.

Comon Tabs, you know you cant say this kind of thing in front of Joaksa etc. Baby Jeesus hates making him cry in his Weeties, but he will do it if he has to.

When you defy reality, it always comes back to bite you.

Lets not mince words GW FKED UP BAD....

However when ones options to ameliorate the situation are ALL bad ones, you pick the least bad one. In that light GW deserves his 9th inning chance. If Sadrs action of "taking a powder" to Iran is an indication, then something is indeed different on the ground in Iraq.

Cats and Rabbits
would reside in fancy little houses
and be dressed in shoes and hats and trouses
in a world of my own

all the flowers
would have very extra special powers
they would sit and talk to me for hours
when im lonely in a world of my own

there'd be new birds
lots of nice and friendly howdy-do birds
everyone would have a dozen blue birds

within that world of my own
i could listen to a beddling brook
and hear a song that i could understand
i keep wishing
it could be that way
because my world would be a wonderland

"First, let me make it very clear, poor people aren't necessarily killers. Just because you happen to not be rich doesn't mean you're willing to kill." GWB - Washington D.C.; May 19th 2003

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Happens in the real world, too. Myself and my co-workers are paid to come up with engineering solutions to problems. All well and good until we have to "sell" them to clueless managers, planners, bean counters, and the like. Those folks, with no idea what it is we do, how we do it, or what our answers mean, then proceed to "critique" those answers right into uselessness.

It never ceases to amaze me that some one would pay specialists to do something for them, anything, and then tear down or completely ignore the answers provided if they don't like them. In my job it is frustrating and wasteful. In Dubya's job it's, well, it's.... Iraq.

john70t 02-17-2007 09:26 AM

In Dubya's job it's quite...., oh heck go watch "The money pit" again.

I do agree with the "if you're gonna do it, do it right" theory, but it's like trying to fill in a river with gold that's not on our property in this case.

Unfortunately...to use your analogy we need the oil to run the pump that pumps the water to irrigate our farm. To protect our interest and those of the other farms whom we are in business with we are stuck pouring Gold into that river.

tabs, losing your son or daughter in this crazy war is not a fairy tale. these are real people.

the tragedy in our government is that there is no accountability for their war crimes. there is no higher power to hold them accountable when they F up (but not that it was a "mistake") on a grand scale and ruin the lives of hundreds of thousand of people. 10X worse damage than the 9/11 hijackers. And they get away with it because they can.

I am surprised at the lack of vitriolic responses to your posts lately....I would have thought that certain regulars would have torn into these like a hyena into a tasty carcass!!

Imagine...actually stating that the administration has made some lulus when it comes to misjudgements.....

Keep up the good work!!

THERE WERE NO LULU'S MADE!
Your name and particulars have now been entered into The List (that shall not be named).

I'm sorry, no other information is available at this time. Please call back at a later time.

Geezus On Ramp..I wonder what U woulda said if U were a Brit the day after the Somme Offensive started in 1916...on that ONE day alone GB lost 60,000 men. Was the British leadership held accountable for that little mistake?

Or how bout Grant and Cold Harbor in 1864...12,000 Union troops in about 45 minutes were lost (maybe it was a little bit longer)

See your the Bleeding Heartt Liberal I've been talking about...have one child killed as collateral damage and your out crying about the military being Baby Killers. To keep you and your family nice and warm at night and driving your Porsche to and fro requires that Americans go in harms way. Your as responsible as GW Bush is for the war in Iraq...BLOOD is on your hands On Ramp..they are dripping with it every time you turn the TV on or start the P car up. If you give up your lifestyle and go and live like Teddy Kozinsky did in Montana, then I can say there is a man of his convictions, but until that day either your a hypocrit or delusional with what it costs to keep you nice and warm at night.

I think you've stepped through the looking glass old son.

It's bit of a stretch to suggest that every American has blood on their hands because a bunch of friggin lunatics are running your country.

To suggest that those very same lunatics are actually doing something to "preserve" or "better" the average American's lifestyle is even more absurd.

Once people wake up to the fact that the great ship of state has lunatics at the helm, hopefully they'll do something about it. It's remarkable to me that this hasn't ocurred a lot sooner.

BTW: the small hint of nostalgia for Saddam in your first post is something we're going to see a lot more of around here as the slide into chaos continues unchecked.

I have blood on my hands? I didnt invade Iraq, you *********.

my lifestyle or your lifestyle has nothing to do with invading IRaq. It's the leaders' fault for starting unjustified wars..
You're crazy.
