You'll spend more on ammo in a year than you do on the gun......

There may be a few civilian transferrable Glock 18s out there - they are a full size (Glock 17) full auto.

For a weapon that is best suited to fight your way out a phone booth. Check out the Beretta 93R pistol. This is the most controllable of the breed.

Or the HK VP70M

Regardless of the threat, you sure as hell would not want to use a full auto gun to defend yourself. There would be prosecutors and lawyers lining up around the block to screw you.

Yea, I definitely don't have the $$$ to pursue a full auto hobby. Hell I can't even afford to feed my regular gun habit. Seen the HK and Beretta before, they're pretty badass.

Use it for self defense? Nah, just the fun factor. In unforgiving circumstances, such as those you're likely to have to defend yourself in, it's hard enough to get the job done with a regular semi-auto, let alone this beast.

The particular gun in that video has a conversion kit on it that is only available to LEOs and Military.

Besides, I get enough dirty looks at the range with my bayonet equipped SKS...

Do you use the bayonet at the range? I could imagine some very funny looks after you run out of ammo, then charge your target and dispatch it.

But most important, do you keep it in the "X" ring?

BS on (legal) class 3 to defend yourself. Harry Beckwith, a long time local gun dealer (died last Oct.) used his S&W 76 a few times...

have a vp70Z. first "plastic gun" wayyyyyyyy before glock. for a good one, your looking at around 500-700 bucks. incredibly accurate. idiot proof. too simple to clean. fixed barrel, makes for the unreal accuracy.

hk's flare gun, 26.5mm, is a direct factory trickle down from the vp70Z efforts as noted by the frame. obviously not semi or full auto w/flares, but a direct result of mfg. ideas from vp70z.

just got one as a gift. new in holster.........UNFIRED! coolest flare gun i have ever seen. availible thru dansammo.com. comes with (1) parachute flare and (4) standard flares all in holster w/cleaning kit.

hk has the world by the short ones as far as techno stuff! really if i had to go to war today............HK ALL THE WAY! love their stuff.

Unique ammo. Besides, it is not at all a new development as they claim. The Soviet 7.62x25 pistol round has been defeating soft body armor for decades.

For my choice of an armor penetrating CQB weapon, give me a suppressed AKS-74U. It's just as compact, hits harder, has common parts interchange ability, uses a standard ammo, and is reliable.

Fun.

What's the useful utility of having cars that exceed the legal speed limits? Fun, right?

And, no, I don't charge the target with my bayonet:-P Just looks really good. My SKS is in EXTREMELY good condition; it's plainly obvious that it is well taken care of, and I like to show it.

In the X-ring? Depends how big the X-ring is:-D With mil. ammo and the iron sights, and my not so good eye-sight, I can keep a mag in an area the size of a human upper torso. Good enough. I could easily get the vitals on a deer or coyote at 50 yards, as well.

well zefsuper911...........with the brilliance of canadian gun laws and the people of the country voting the way they do, here in america we can own 26.5mm flare guns.

now why in hells name would i want one???

lets see..........if i crash in plane, they kinda come in handy. especially if plane doesnt have EPIRP. that way you could signal help.

or how bout lake powell..........that lil ol lake that gets 6 ft boomer waves when storms hit. enough wave action to sink 70 ft house boats. or how about someone has a accident in the escalante arm(one of the more remote parts of the u.s. where they only thing you can communicate w/ is a sat phone, and thats real short due to sheer vertical rise of canyons. remember that vhf and uhf usually line of site freaks(frequencies). no cell worky at lake powell.

or how about during score off road race in baja/nevada/az., and you needed to signal fixed wing or rotary that you were involved in accident and somebodys seriously injured or got dead!

or maybe out fishing in the gulf of california and boat breaks down.

or maybe out hunting and someone gets hurt bad.

or maybe in mexico as last ditch effort to save your bacon when bad guys come into camp and want to rape your g-friend/wife. yes you can bring spear guns and flare guns into and back out of mexico, we have checked and have always gone with very nice sharp bayonets/dive knives(we are all veteran 30 year divers) and nice 3-band JBL spear guns. were not stupid, always be prepared for the worst.

and the final reason.............because it was a gift and i had been looking for one for years NIB UNFIRED! also you can get sleeve adapter and shoot cheap ass OLIN 12 gauge flares instead of hi buck HK factory hard as hell to find flares.

oh yeah.............great way to start a fire to roast marshmellows!

ever take magnesium chips from machine shop and ignite w/olin 12 gauge flare gun.............ultimate way to get fire going in sub-zero arctic/antarctic whiteout!

look up hkpro.com and note similarities between VP70Z(volks-pistolen-1970year of mfg.- Z+zivilian).
