996 owner goes gadget-bananas!

This 996 is on ebay right now. The fact that it came from the factory in ultra-violet paint is a side issue at this point. Check out the gadgets he manages to stuff into the cockpit:

-Chrome skull shift knob
-Emergency glass breaking hammer (mounted on dash!)
-giant cup holder or extinguisher holder for front( also on dash)
-some black disc of unknown purpose (also glued to dash)
-extra convex rear view mirror on A-pillar
-the numbers 9-1-1 on dash (in case he starts thinking he's in a Civic)
-steering wheel cover
-"Type R" pedal covers with dead pedal
-additional mirror on driver's A-pillar
-sheepskin neck cushion
-rear seat fire extinguisher
-another set of 9-1-1 number mounted in front of shifter (I guess the first was so the passenger won't mistake it for Civic)
-chrome plastic Quad Exhaust "look" mounted to rear bumper
-piaa-like driving lights in front (do the Xenons need the help?)
-at least he has a giant first aid kit -- hopefully contains an aspirin.

As the old saying goes, the only thing money can't buy you is taste.

That yellow stripe on his tags exonerates us New Yorkers from having to take credit for his taste.

porsche930dude 02-23-2007 04:31 PM

Funny thing is that everything out side of those interior mirros, the cup holder, that what-cha-ma-call-it under the passenger air bag, the steering wrap and the shift knob is offered by PNA.

With the added photo (Those tips are not offered by PNA) all four.. :)

I guess there is such a thing as bad-bling,

bpoteat 03-01-2007 05:15 AM

No one has mentioned the hidious wheels. And those things hanging underneith the license look ridiculous - "$500 PIAA backup lights"?

rexav8r 03-01-2007 05:22 AM

As per the ad: "2000 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 4 COUPE MILLENIUM EDITION - VERY RARE. "

--I concur: Very Rare indeed.

Somebody needs to buy that just to un-do the insanity !

daepp 03-01-2007 05:25 AM

He's missing the Skoal can opener for the dash, the chrome bimbo mudflaps and the AAA spinning compass from my Grandma's Valiant...

jtratza 03-01-2007 09:06 PM

Check out what else he is selling on ebay. That should explain his "creativity" with the 996. This guy needs to get back to blinged out Hondas.

onlycafe 03-01-2007 10:57 PM

the only thing missing is a douchebag, oh wait , that goes on the drivers seat.

onlycafe 03-01-2007 11:04 PM

it was bid all the way up to $6,300, buy it now was $59,500.
might have gotten more if he had thrown in a gimp mask.
