Any one of the 'conservatives' who is SERIOUS about closing the border to illegals.....but none of them have prayer.

That reminds me. I like Tom Tancredo a lot too.

I am actually excited that Paul is running as a Republican. He's the first major party candidate I have really felt excited about in years. It's sad that the Republicans have become the out of control spenders like the Democrats used to be, and the Democrats are the more fiscally conservative now. Ron Paul might actually start to change that.

Is John Edwards still running? Ain't heard a peep from him.

Wayne, I don't think it's forward looking at all to vote for THE black man or THE woman who are running just because of their skin color or ethnicity. I think both of them are 180 deg. wrong on every issue and wouldn't vote for either of them under any circumstances. Put a black man like Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams or a woman like Condaleeza Rice (a two-fer) and I'd vote for any of them in a cocaine heartbeat.

Don't know about TS or WW, but I think CR is ineffectual or incompetent. She's been a participant in many of this Administration's screw-ups, but so far has managed to duck accountability, largely (IMHO) due to her sex and race.

I am not interested in voting for Hilary or Obama because of their race or sex. It is not relevant for me. I think, if elected, Obama would have an elevated risk of being assassinated - race is relevant to too many people, and not in a good way.

I am interested in voting for someone who has a realistic chance of winning. Symbolic or conscience votes are not my cup of tea.
