any stamp collectors out here?

i'm not, but uncle of mine inherited a box of stamps
something we don't get, is that there's a huge amount of identical stamps, stacked per 100, neatly tied, and they're all used, stamped, with dates...

i always thought that collectors went for unstamped stamps
preferably with intact sides, or even better, with a print defect???

could somebody englighten me on this collecting used stamps???

these are bundles, each of 100 identical , used stamps
dated from the seventies

this is one of such bundles opened

then there's a bunch of loose ones, but many are duplicates, all stamped, i guess a couple more bundles coudl be made from those... maybe not 100 's , but bundles of 50..

and amongst that bunch, there's some more exotics, Pakistan, India, old Portuguese, some Asian stamps in Kanji... some older European stamps, stamped in 1870, some in 1920...

in all these piles, i occasionally found some unstamped... what i normally thought would be collectible:

I don't collect stamps. My grandmother left me some that are from the turn of the 20th century. I have no idea if they are worth anything.

The German stamps are really neat from a history standpoint.
