That’s a McLaren Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 car!

I was driving home today and I noticed the new liquor store that has been going up for the last few months is having it's grand opening. I’m driving by at about 50 mph and notice they have an open wheel racecar sitting out front. So I’m thinking it an IRL car or a Champ car on display. So I debated with myself weather I should turn around and have a look at it. I haven’t been up-close and personal to a car like that in awhile. I do a u-turn and pull into the parking lot, grab my digital camera and walk over to it. As I walking up to it I see the silver and black colors and the treaded tires and I say to myself, Holy $hit! That’s a McLaren Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 car!

This is Juan Pablo Montoya’s car from last year. It is the only F-1 car currently on tour in the US according to the flunky taking care of it. It is sponsored by Johnny Walker so that is the tie in to the liquor store opening. This IS the actual car minus the engine and a few other pieces. It has a few battle scares on it. The guy said the value of it is $13 million!!!

The thing is freakin' ugly. It looks like it didn't finish morphing.

Cool! Are you certain it was the real deal? You can get full size replicas:

I am thinking MS's Ferrari would look really good in the middle of my livingroom!
