I can't believe how bad this Administration has been for the Military. The gang that wraps the flag around themselves. First, they create a war in Iraq, and send guys to fight over there without adequate armor. Then, they destroy any good they did getting rid of Saddam by torturing Arab prisoners--resulting in a bunch of pictures tailor made for terrorist recruiters. And then, they overstay their welcome to the point that now our troops don't know who the enemy is. And now we find, they are pennypinching those Veterans. Better to line the pockets of Halliberton, I guess.

Actually Bush has nearly doubled the VA budget in his six years, but facts are annoying so feel free to disregard.

VA hospitals have sucked for many years. Last time I went to one for an emergency the wait was more than 8 hours. The only difference now is that liberals seem to think that this time they might be able to place the blame on Bush.

I went to one right after I retired, just to fill out the paperwork for eligibility of benefits. This was back in 2000, during the Clinton administration. Vowed to myself that day that I would not return unless it was a matter of life or death, and I had no other options. Not necessarily because I didn't trust the care I'd receive, but rather, there seemed to be such an extremely long wait for any type of care, and so many of the patients there seemed to be in more of a need for it. I refused to be the one standing in line ahead of any of these old warriors. Randy
