Got a confession to make - I love pork rinds

I know. They're probably the very worst for you but I can't help myself. On long drives, to me nothing is more satisfying to munch on than greasy, crunchy, salty, light and airy pork rinds. I just feel so guilty buying them though but what the heck, you only live once.

Anyone else have a guilty pleasure food?

McDonald's fries.

Nothing compares, at least since I moved away from my hometown and the chip wagon that roamed the streets looking to separate small kids from their small change.

Oh, and fois gras.

Believe it or not, pork rinds are actually good for you - relatively speaking. Take a look at how much protein they have vs fat. Surprisingly it's a pretty healthy snack.

If you like pork rinds - try pork cracklings!! They leave extra thick fat on the skins - yummy!!! Nothing better than fried animal skin with extra flesh attached!!

+1. The 'real' ones sold in the UK are way better than the ones they sell in the US!

Try this sometime then- Smash up a bag of pork rinds, and use it to 'bread' some chicken and fry it up. Sweet Jesus, its like putting paradise on your tongue.
