How do I monetize my daughters "gift"?

She turns 7 this year and since she's been able to speak she has been predicting the sex of babies. She meets pregnant women and just looks at them and says "boy" or "girl". We just got a call from my wifes cousin, they had an ultra sound today and my daughter was correct again. She's like 10 for 10. This is starting to freak me out a bit as it's getting beyond statistical anomaly stage.

Or Long Beach. We have a little gender identifying difficulty here, as does Laguna Beach, Hollywood and San Fran.

Instead of saying boy or girl, have her say "monkey." See what happens. or perhaps the parents want a boy. How much $ would they pay for your daughter just to meet them and utter her directive in their preferred sex?

You don't. Trying to profit from a 7 year old will just screw her up. Keep it a secret and leave it alone.

Become an evil overlord by threatening the population that you will have your daughter say things like "garden slug" if they do not submit to your unlimited reign. Also, ask her to say "cylon" one time...maybe she can reveal the final five...

When she was three my brother and I were sitting in the yard having a beer. My daughter is sittng next to me opposite him and looks up at my brother and then just stares past him for a while. My brother looks over his shoulder and then back at me and asks "what is she looking at". She responds "those people" The only thing behind my brother was trees.

Fascinating! You say "ever since.." and "every time" etc. Would be interesting if you could recollect and list more specifically how many times, what circumstances and what premonition. Itīs the kind of 'gift' I would love to believe in but always turns out to fit within the range of coincidence. On the subject, I would not explore or take advantage, but I do not think I could have resisted the temptation of putting the 'gift' to a test or two..

Statistics and a 50/50 throwing of the dice has nothing to do with it. There are differences. They are so subtle though, as to be pretty much intuition.. And only females can see them. Last edited by The Gaijin; 03-13-2007 at 04:48 AM..
