To Catch a Con Man - Thank you MSNBC

Here is a very worthwhile extension to “To Catch a Predator” on MSNBC tonight.

Think of how many times we have received these scam emails and wanted to scam the scamer. Well, MSNBC did it in spades. They had clips on the Today Show this morning.

Best,
Grady

Grady,

Just watching the clip on Today show. One of my best friends is involved in catching these jerks on the internet. He is retired and this is how he enjoys spending his free time.

BTW, I have done a fair amount of flying in Nigeria and flew there twice in the last year on British Airways. Everytime we would either take off or land from London the British Police would delay our flight while arresting wanted people trying to get on or off the plane. I asked several of the flight attendents what was going on and they all said the same thing, that the police had been trying to catch these same scammers and that this was one of the best way.

Their other comment was that these Nigerians were usually trying to smuggle loads of cash on the flight back to Nigeria. When we were allowed to get off of the jet and walked by the people under arrest in the jetway there was a pile of $100 bills on the floor besides over half of the people there. Guess the FA's were right...
