Automatic Transmission shop in Houston area?
Anyone in Houston know of any good automatic tranny shops? Have a friend there with a S-type Jag that needs some help.
Its a woman and she is afraid of being taken to the cleaners, so would be nice to find someone who is honest. Yea I know, that could be difficult to find! Anyone have any contacts around Houston?

These guys aren't specific to trannys, but I have done very very well with Champion Import Auto, on Texas 249, Just North of FM 1960. I have had them work on my 911, BMW and Jeep.

I trust Terry Lawell at Lawell Motorsports. I'd call him and ask who he recommends. 713-871-1040
The gearheads at work use Wendell's in Baytown (east of Houston). They say he's not cheap, but he does exceptional work. I called him and he said they do Jaguars.
