My GF has just confirmed a biz trip west, so I think I'll join her for a few days in So Cal, probably in San Diego this time.

Which is close to LA.....and of course that means cool car rentals!

Anything cool happening that Friday (29th of march) thru the weekend??

Wow...cool Porsche event! I'd love to do the autocross (tough with the GF coming in on Sunday) or the time trial, but of course, I have no car. (I guess I could rent a Boxster) And I'm at Lime Rock, CT until 5 PM thurs, so that makes "late registration" and tech at 6 Am on Friday tough!

Too bad, I'd LOVE to take part!

OK, as it's my birthday, I'm considering doing the autocross, perhaps with a rented Boxster. Are there any weird rules that I could run afoul of?? Like I'm too tall or something goofy? (I'm 6'3")

LV was budget and time constraints. Fontana...well, I have an opportunity to go spend a week and a half on the beach in Malaysia *and* watch the Malaysian GP in person or be at Fontucky. I'll be at the STS on Saturday, and will be at Tribute. Just getting a slow start to the season...

Well, just to update, and this is the typical classic situation...., LOL..

I HAD decided to enter a track day at Lime Rock on thurs for my birthday (sat), but then my girlfriend mentioned she had a trip to cali planned for biz...would I like to join her at the end? Ok, so, after thinking I could do both, I gave up the track reservation, and begin planning the cali trip.

Then she finds out her company is being aquired by Oracle, and guess what?! Her trip gets put on hold.

So I bail on it..but the track days now full. LOL. Never fails.

Last minute, she IS going to cali....but I unfortunately will not be kicking tires at the Speedway this weekend. What are ya gonna do? LOL...Maybe I'll do a spring cleanup...you guys have fun!
