10:23 PM in Chicago

You are a day and a half older.

12own911 04-12-2007 11:36 AM

Then you have to listen to everything I say because I am older... hahaha

jriera 04-13-2007 07:12 AM

OK .... so:

- Who is coming?
- When?
- What do you want to do?

fingpilot 04-13-2007 02:31 PM

OK, OK, so I may be there...... my party is falling apart.

Joeaksa 04-15-2007 02:44 PM

Michael,

Bring the girls from your boat party!

Jordi,

Still planning on being there unless work gets in the way.

cool_chick 04-16-2007 03:00 PM

Oh damn, I missed this thread.

I'm in Vegas both at end of this month (April) and late July. Damn.

jriera 04-16-2007 04:34 PM

I'll in town, give me a call if you need anything.

LOL, I think I took that....

There's more out here somewhere targa88.....does anyone know where the rest are? I couldn't find them... I remember there being more, including an awesome one of Redbeard and his wife and with me and the "menu" (aka stony, who, BTW, happens to rock)......

jriera 04-18-2007 07:47 PM

Anyone interested for me to check with Renegade Hybrids, Premier Sportscar (www.premiersportscarservice.com) and/or Carl's Place to organize a 'guided' visit of their facilities during UPM Deux??

targa88 04-18-2007 07:51 PM

Jordi,
Sounds like a great idea. Doesn't Shelby have a facility in LV also.

jriera 04-18-2007 07:56 PM

Yes, Shelby Automobiles Inc. is based here (http://www.shelbyautos.com/) as well some Harley tuners. Southern Nevada has become a 'hot bed' for people and companies 'not so happy' with California taxes and regulations

targa88 04-18-2007 07:57 PM

I bet that would also get some interest.
Has the "collective" settled on a date yet?

jriera 04-18-2007 08:01 PM

Sure we don't have a date yet, I'm waiting until nobody can make reservations for Memorial Day ....

targa88 04-18-2007 08:04 PM

By that time - everybody will come and stay @ your place. Convenient and easy access to LV!!!
I'm ready to come down - I just need a definitive date....

jriera 04-18-2007 08:17 PM

I was not kidding when I said for you to set the date ... Richard (and g/f) will be here during Memorial Day weekend, red-beard maybe, Joe maybe.

I still think that the May 18th or June 15th dates are the best as we can go to Pahrump to see/participate in the races and even visit the 'Bordello Museum' !!!

I just need a set of dates to try to organize some activities ...

... and my place is not THAT big, I may have one or two bedrooms available and a couple of couches ...

targa88 04-18-2007 08:28 PM

Jordi,
All kidding aside. As I mentioned before I think I have the furthest to travel - so it does entail some planning.
I know that Richard's date is set in stone and can not be changed. For Joe it is always a scheduling issue (nature of his job).
There is a practical reason that Memorial weekend would not make a lot of sense.
As we move forward into the summer - I am not convinced how my targa would enjoy the summer heat (no AC - common to that vintage and black inside and out).
That being said we have been regulars to LV for the last 15+ years and always enjoyed the place.
Just got back from a track day @the LVMS. Awesome.
Both dates that you have suggested May 18 or June 15th are fine by me - since it would be part of a longer trip... http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat3.gif

jriera 04-18-2007 08:39 PM

Targa, black, summer, no AC and Las Vegas is not a good idea, at least not an enjoyable one.

OK guys and girls ... make your mind ... people are waiting !!!

red-beard 04-18-2007 08:53 PM

A lot depends on the hole in the back yard. It was dug in a day. The rebar was layed in 4 hours. There is a possibility it will contain concrete by the end of the week.
