UPM Part Deux during Memorial Day weekend
 

I think is about time to have another meeting in Las Vegas.

Two dates to consider; May 18th to the 20th or June 15th to the 17th, the reason for those dates is that both dates have Porsche activities at the Pahrump track (http://www.springmountainmotorsports.com) hosted by the Las Vegas PCA and the San Diego Region PCA.

If anyone is interested I can also reserve time and space at one of the shooting galleries.

Aside from those activities we should have the usual meet-and-greet on Friday night at the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio.

I plan to bring at least one handgun with me for my travels around the desert.

The date is open, I just suggested two dates based on some Porsche racing activities (requested last year).

If you (global you) agree that Memorial weekend (May 25th to May 28th) is better let's go for it BUT Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends in Las Vegas regarding people coming to town (above 600,000 people expected), hotel rooms may be expensive and sparse.

James, will be glad to help you with the toys, I may have a few on my own by then.

It's too bad I can't take them to Spain this summer (Margarita's Father was born in Burgos).

Does this mean I have to send out the shirts from last year before we meet again? Sorry Joe and Vin... I still have them in my car... I just got lost with stuff... :(

We like girls and aint gonna go to the land of, well you know what, for just about anything.

Last time I was in SFO went to the airport to airline out. Was grabbing my bags out of the taxi and another car pulled up next to us. Out gets two guys and they proceed to slap a lip lock on each other, tongue and all. This went on for about a minute in the middle of the road.

After this I do not need to EVER go to SFO again, for just about any reason.

Come on to Vegas and be hedonistic with the rest of us! :)

Legion, take a weekend off and come on over. Play with the machine guns and swill whiskey, you know... fun stuff.

I just booked a hotel for the 24th and 25th of May. Probably headed to Zion and Bryce after that.

Are waterpumpers welcome? If so (and assuming I have the upgrades on my car completed by then) I might do it.

To tell the truth, none of the "social engineering" group seem to be interested this time, so who knows. Hope that some of them come over and that we have a good mix like last year, just more people this time.

If I can restore my E in 6 weeks, I may try to drive out. Car is now stripped bare since these pics...need 3 warm dry days to take it to bare metal, POR15, then start prepping body for paint, then, put it back together.

I don't know about SW, but you can on many airlines...you can check unloaded weapons in your checked baggage. Each airline has their own process.

I do it all the time since I have a good friend in China Lake who loans me guns all the time to try out.:)

I get to Vegas on May 24th and leave the evening of the 28th. But my lady really wants to go to some parks in UT for two of those days. So when exactly will everyone be IN Vegas?

Rick, I'll be in China for about 9 days. That's the only weekend I'll be out of the country though.

I'm not crazy about the memorial day traffic from LA to Vegas. I'm thinking that I'd want to try and get in either Thursday or early Friday, and likely leave Saturday afternoon. I'm switching so many days with my ex I can't stay for very long.

Seriously, Vegas again? why not a change of venue?
