2000 Tahoe Power Window
Wife complained the driver side window is inoperable.
I replaced the motor 1.5 years ago which was a PIA. Take a look today and the motor runs fine, open up door panel and see excess cable. Looks like the cable that controls the window regulator snapped. Replacing it looks like mostly a "blind" job. Very little of the system can be seen, it's all hidden behind the inner sheetmetal. I'm thinking this is a dealer repair. Don't know if it's worth my time in 40 degree weather to attempt it. Parts are probably dealer only anyway. Anyone have a source for diagrams? Scott

I have the factory shop manuals for 2001.
The Chevy manuals have you skipping around from page to page for every different step, so usually one diagram or two is insufficient. But if I can help, I will. |
