I have it on VHS tape and already made a copy for a friend without cable.
Also on the same tape is Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, Corvette and Ford, 5-hours of Victory by Design it's a keeper.

I've seen the Aston Martin & Ferrari ones... fantastic television. They do a first rate job with camera & sound, and the host does a great job of weaving the history.
I understand the show centers around competion cars, but I'd LOVE to see the same treatment for some production road cars. Miura, Austin-Healy, MG TC, xk120, e-type etc...

Corvette was on an hour ago and the Ford show just ended. I saw a bit of both while I was at lunch.

I'll have to search for them on my DVR to see if I can record them. If not, I'll hit up Kach for them.

The Corvette one was interesting. I've had 5 Corvettes and didn't know a 3rd of what they presented.
Probably the best one I had was a '65 coupe. But I'm sure if I drove it today I'd think it was a truck. |

FWIW, I think the 63-67 vettes were one of the best looking American cars, EVER.

I thought it was an excellent episode. Alain certainly seemed impressed with the cars, more so than I expected.

I know Alain was a race car driver, but for who, when, in what series?

He was an independant who did quite well racing at Le Mans in Porsches, Ferraris as well as his own car. His Dad was a Free-French General during the WWII, but Alain is apparently very british. He's also was a well known charactor and fashion photographer which apparently got him a lot of girls. Do a search for his name across Pelican and you'll also find a cool video where he gets buzzed by a Spitfire -- of which I guess he either owns, or once owned one.
He was recently interviewed in the British magazine "Motorsports".
