Tundra forum thread where the brag about aggressive driving
These guys have a neat feature on their forum where they can see what websites link to their threads, so if you click the link they'll know you came from this thread.
Anyway, they brag about being aggressive and intimidating drivers in their 5.7L Toyota Tundras. It ends up looking like the guys in the thread (assuming all Tundra drivers aren't like this) have lap pinkies and are compensating. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tundra/95059-5-7-makes-holes-nice-guys/

The bigger the truck, the smaller the penis. Not 100% true, but more often than not, it seems.

I went from an S10 to a V6 F150 to a 5.3L Silverado in three years. Should I see a doctor?

the funny thing is that they really think their truck is "fast"
at best it does 0-60 in 8 seconds, by no means impressive

Stoplight racing you'd have to wring the guts out of a 3.2 to keep up with one. Dodge has a FS truck that's equally menacing from a stop. Throw a couple 90 lb bags of concrete in the bed and it probably gets even worse for Mr. Pcar.

I used to hang out on a board for Chevy & GMC truck owners (I got a pickup truck as a hand-me-down years ago, this was before I bought the 944, which is much more practical for living around here BTW). Anyway it never ceased to amaze me how much money, time and effort those guys would get into in order to build engines/drivetrains making absurd amounts of power, just to go about as fast as a stock, "boring" old n/a 944. With no handling whatsoever. Absolutely astonishing.
Most trucks are good at burning gas and making loud noise - little else. They sure as hell don't go fast. If I'm going to spend $15k building up an engine, I'd MUCH rather it go into a 2,600# 944 than a 3,600# 4x4 that has no handling. Call me crazy, but it just seems to make more sense that way, but whatever creams your Twinkie I guess. . .

Well i stand corrected, they do run around 6.0-6.3 for the regular cabs. As jeff said, would rather have something that handles well
