how do you re-name a link with "click here"
how do you post a link where it says "click here"?
then you click it and you're there..... thanks |
bracketurl="http://www.pelicanparts.com"bracketclick here bracket/urlbracket
replace bracket with [ and ] to make enclosures around the /url and the url="http;....." part |
Easy.
Press on the 'Post Reply' button. Then it will take you to the main page and you will see a button for http:// Click on that button and type in what you want the hyperlink to look like. Click ok. Now the box will ask you for the url, it will say http:// in blue. Just delete that and copy and paste the link in and press ok. Pelican will automatically put the code into your reply. Kinda like this. Click me |
thank you :)

You can get fancy, too, and put an image instead where it says "click here." Instead of "click here," put in bracketimgbrackettheimageurlbracket/imgbracket
For example, click the quote button when you see a hyperlink or an image and you can see the html structure. Suggestion: for your signature line, change the hyperlink to where it says "our site" |
good stuff :)
