Oh goody. I hate Windows! I have had so many problems with my Dell over-heating POS laptop, it's insane.

Yeah, but somewhere there is a list of your bookmarks on the hard drive. I can't imagine Dave doesn't know how to open that list. I've seen mine once, but I can't find it again.

Also, I tried to save my bookmarks on an Internet storage site so what happened P-girl wouldn't be a problem should the inevitable occur. Couldn't upload them.

In addition, I have been using FF 2.0 for 3 weeks. Where do you see the "correction suggestions?" I see the red line, that's all.

Milt, I do know where to go....

Katie, search here. Substitute correct names (i.e. Administrator)
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\g9wdcwwl.default

Some info above will change depending on usernames and by default, some of the directories are hidden (Application Data). Search for Bookmarks or Bookmarks.bak If you are lucky, you can find a recent copy.

Also, Laptop fans get plugged up rather quickly. You can use a "Can of Air" and blow the junk out (turn laptop off) Blow the air into where the hot air comes out.

Milt: The red line appears telling you of the mistake. Right-click on the word and and the correct spellings will appear on the top of the menu.

Dave

Thanks Dave! I'll give that a try...my fan is the tiniest joke of a thing...positioned on the *bottom* of the laptop. That makes a lot of sense

And the laptop cooler I got doesn't seem to do much good at all...oh well.
