Aggressive driving State Troopers

Hi

MA State Troopers drive like A-holes. They tailgate until the person pulls over then then tailgate the next in line. And instead of doing their job and pulling over the left hand lane hog, they just go to the next pack of cars. If I drove like that I would and should be ticketed.

Do your state troopers drive like that? I spoke to a NY friend and he said NY State Troopers also drive like aholes.

I tried to get some local news stations to do a report on this but they won't.

Dean

My rural part of Va enjoys polite, respectfull State Troopers. The local cops are so bad the state boys, don't need to do it.

I've called the local (to where I am on the Pike) barracks on 3 occassions and reported dangerous driving by MA State Troopers, exactly as you describe, like 2 feet off the bumper in front of them.

22 years ago I had just gotten my 930 the week before my wifes 10 year class reunion. I had given several high speed rides to some of her classmates at the afternoon picnic. Then that night we went to the banquet and had a few brews. It was a beautiful summer night when we left at 1am and went for a drive. I had stopped at a railroad crossing and a car pulled up behind me with its lights on bright. WTF? I turn and they turn. This guy is on my ass and I'm thinking WTH? I am doing the speed limit and after 2 miles of this the State trooper turns on the lights. To make a long story short he was a car guy and had never seen a 930 in person. We shot the bull and I told him I was about to get pissed. He said we knew you weren't a fool but we already had your license plate number. Thank god he didn't smell my breath. It would have melted his badge if he'd been downwind.

And I know it was stupid to drink and drive but I used to be bullet proof.

They're called "Mass-holes" for a reason.

Same here in NJ. It's apparently okay for one to drive at 91 mph on the Turnpike. In rush hour traffic. With the Governor in the SUV. Who's not wearing a seatbelt. To get to the meeting of Don Imus and the Rutgers b-ball team.

Didn't work out so well, however.

I almost got ran off the road by a state trooper coming down an on ramp (he was waiting at the top as part of a speed trap). He didn't have his lights or sirens on yet and was after a car in front of me. He didn't let the fact that I was between him and his target slow him down.

I saw on the news that the trooper in this crash isn't facing charges. I wonder if we would face charges in the same situ.

Shaun, Good job on reporting them.

I was on a local 45 mph road in my town following a person at a safe distance going 40. I notice a Crown Vic on my tail. So I pass the slowpoke thinking I would get away from the Vic. Wrong. The Crown Vic passes the slow poke and is now on my tail at 55 in a 45. I was thinking I should do a lougey out the sunroof and hit the windshield. But I let go of it. 1/2 mile of him tailgating me I go left at a light. I look over it is a State Commander vehicle. (whatever that is) A-hole

ask John Corzine about his latest experience, riding with a NJ
State Trooper.......

91 MPH in a 65, no seatbelt, on their way to oversee that Imus fiasco........

Typical police action.

K9? Are you listening, too????
