The Banyan tree in Lahaina is pretty neat.

One of the shopping centers there had a really cool Koi pond in the courtyard.

We took a long drive after leaving Lahaina and went North past Ka'anapali. The coast on that side of the island is amazing.

The sunsets were not to shabby either.

We did the road to Hana the last time we were there in 2001. We made the round trip all the way around. I'll never do that again! Both my wife and daughter were car sick.
I made the drive up to Haleakala this time. (by myself) I lucked out. It was very clear at the top.

We also drove up to the Iao Valley. The mountains there were incredible!

The first part of the road was wonderful, the last part terrible. Only good thing was at the end of the road is a wonderful vinyard. Still have a few bottles left from there...

Did a week at the Grand Wailea 2 years ago. Fantastic.

Loved Stellas Cafe. Given the price of food on the island, it was a bargain, and very good.

No trip to Maui is complete without a side trip to Big Beach and Little Beach! Ask the locals! ;-)

On our trip in '06, four of us did the Road to Hana (all the way around) in a rental Lincoln LS.

Who needs a Jeep, anyway!
