Unhappy Lost a good friend yesterday

The motorcycle community as well as the world lost a good friend and brother yesterday. Richard "Mac" MacDonald was in a motorcycle accident and succumbed from the injuries Friday, April 20, 2007.

Mac was a rider for 30+ years and was one of the safest riders I know. From what I understand he was T-Boned by an idiot that wasn't paying attention and thrown into a truck.

Mac has been living in Greer, SC for the last couple of years. He was originally from Minnesota, moved to North Carolina about 25 years ago where he has resided in Winston Salem, Old Fort and Marion NC.

Mac was the salt of the earth and his presence touched thousands of people in a positive way. I have posted a couple of images in case he might have touched your life.

Please give his family your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

As a fellow motorcycle rider, sorry to see your friend head West.

Will hold the thought for him and his family.

Joe

My condolences to you. Its an old sad story that we bikers have to live with every day. I have had my share of close calls with idiots doing anything but driving. I can rant on, but there is no sense in that right now.

Please give my best to his family.

Sad story. Scoots are just too dangerous for me. My brother had the same thing happen to him last November but lived. He will never be the same physically and is fortunate to be walking and talking.

Seen some bad things happen to bikers, sounds like a right kinda guy, nice bike.

Sorry for your lose.

It's why I do not ride anymore.

I stopped riding in traffic years ago. Between the oblivious drivers and the punitive drivers, it was too risky.
