Thumbs up A Wolfe seen hunting the streets of Seattle....

Headed along 145st in Shoreline this afternoon. Suddenly a FANTASTIC looking white Carrera rolls by us (going about 2x the speed limit I might add ). Finally caught up when turning onto Aurora. Sure enough, it was Mr. Macleod himself.

Awesome car man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of Seattle area cars: I'm driving my Toyota P/U on Hwy 18 today when what looks like an early ST gets on in front of me leaving Covington. I have to wick up to to pull along side for a look.....There's the one and only Chis Nielsen (cnielsen) driving the Blue/Grey one of his fleet....

What? Where? When? About what time? I was out twice today - came home from a Vintage Guitar show about 1pm.
Second was coming home from the closing CompUSA store aroundf 3 or 4ish.
Which direction was I headed?

Was car were you driving?
2x the speed limit? I don' think so. I keep it under 40 on 145th.

By the way, we live just off 145th and Greenwood. If you've googled me, you know where. Welcome to stop by some time.

It was around 1pm. I was in dark gray Lexus RX330. Not exactly a car that stands out.

I think you did actually! I tried to catch up, but I got bottled up behind some joker making a left. I rolled past you while you were waiting for the light at Aurora, and I was going left.

That is a fine looking Carrera.

Why thank you! It's a damn near perfect car, and just exctly what I was looking for. 38,000 miles, and runs liek a dream. Just put it on the Dyno yesterday, and pulling 202hp at the wheels, which is right where it should be according to my readings.

Shoulda honked at me or somethin!

Now...I wonder who the Black Boxster is I gave a thumbs up to on I-5 was. Gave him a big 'ol smile!

Hey Bob S... Wish I would have known it was you. I was heading up to Bernie's shop to replace 3 broken valve springs on the car!?!? We finished tonight at 11:30 pm. Now that is a dedicated P-car mechanic!

Damm - That's quick work. Think it was almost 3:30 when I saw you pull out of Covington. Didn't think one with 3 broken springs woulld run that well; Didn't seem to be smoking, missing or anything. Probably just noticable at high RPM's...

Surprisingly, not noticeable at all. The only reason I knew something was wrong was that I found a hunk of valve spring on my drain plug magnet!!!

Quick work is right... Bernie is awesome!
