Doesn't surprise me one bit. The Collection is known here in Miami as the epicenter of pompous, douchebag, egomaniacal customers being served by overblown, a-hole, condescending, guido salesmen.
It's basically automotive hell. Almost all of the high-dollar rides you see driving around South Beach come from this place. You see the plastic (of course) license plate frame and just shake your head. As an example of the culture at this jerk factory, I was forced to go to their parts department for an oil filter (long story). The sales guy rings it up and says, "Your total comes to $63." WHAT!!! He just stared at me.... If you ever have any desire to do business with these bozos, just take a nice long walk and the feeling will soon wear off. Run, don't walk, away from them. I'll bet this story doesn't turn out well for that poor guy. He obviously didn't know any better.
