the setup: streets of willow
2nd episode, and they're doing Streets of Willow. Fun to see someone else running one of you're "home tracks." The first race they were just doing a short oval section of it, this time the full track. They're running clockwise but haven't seen if they're running with the bowl.

Just put it on, thanks.
My first track day was at Streets in '05... KT

yeah, i never could see what configuration they were running. Too many quick cuts. But it's a reality show, not a race show...

I would love to run there again, regardless.

they did run horse thief mile at the end of the show. I've never run it, but it appears to be a little sketchy for cars. Both it and Streets are pretty tight for w2w racing.
I'm assuming they weren't running the bowl as that would have been a great place to get shots. From what I could tell they were running the old POC setup along with the new cutoff for turn 4. They said something about 1:30 laps under yellow, and there is no way they were turning that with the bowl. In my car 1:30 with the full course is seriously humping... |
