Anyone know Triumphs?

My pops and my father in law are both in love with TR6's. I found a used one near me for sale I am going to check out. I know the price is good, but aside from rust in the rockers/doglegs I'm not really sure what to look for on these things. This one is a 75 I believe. Anything specific I should check?

Also what should I drive to look at it? I was thinking my Wrangler or my wife's Jeep so not to give the guy the impression I had a ton of disposable cash with the 911. Or drive the 911 and hope he is a car guy, what do you guys think?

Also anyone know of any good Triumphs sites? Is there a Triumph version of Pelican?

I know a fair amount about British sports cars having owned one type or another since 1973, but the guys at the Vintage Triumph Register know even more. Here is there buyers checklist for the TR6: http://www.vtr.org/TR6/TR6-buying.shtml

Some of the bad

There is also rust around the front headlight. I have a pic but it was taken under a different setting and is giant.

Other than that it drove and stopped fine. Shifted good. It has 58K miles on it. Was a neat car. I don't think really for me but I will pass the info on to my FIL and pops.

Thanks for the links.
