i still cannot get through the set-up. and now something seems to have happened to my email as well. i am a computer illiterate nincompoop. i think i will have to wait until one of my computer savvy friends comes along to get this thing straight. i will get on the ball returning invites as soon as they let me in. sorry about the delay in returning the favor. my intentions are good but my capabilities are severely limited as i am a donkey when it comes to using this infernal machine.

I am having trouble with the login...will try again in the morning. Thanks Rick for the invite!

Thanks Mike. Is there some delay from the time you set up the account before activation?

I set it up but it's still not recognizing my user name.

I don't know if this helps or not, but I found that part a bit confusing. After you've created an account and gotten a 'true' in the setup window you have to click on the button on the bottom that says something like 'login'. Then you can login properly. Just setting up your username and password in that window won't log you in.

How did we miss 4 guys?

Correct on all accounts. I didn't quite understand that part either. However, you must click on the log in button in the window that you type in your username and password. If not, it won't recognize you.

well at this point it looks like the guys i will be inviting haven't even been born yet.
i am being told by computer literate friends, that i don't have enough something in or on my computer to make the system work. will try to buy some whatever it is next week.

Thank you for the invite. Wondering if anyone is worried about the legitimacy of the site.While down loading the software I received a warning message....site did not have valid digital signal. I am not a computer guru, but the ring it had, was not good. Any one have any input?

There are a lot of benign reasons that a certificate will present as questionable. I find Windows can be overly sensitive.

Joost was done by the Skype guys. They would not be getting broadcast deals with Viacom if they were not legit.

So it turns out that on May 1st they upped the invites from 3 to unlimited.

If Joost pans out like Skype has, it will be successful. I use skype when traveling and can talk to my wife and daughter that way. It works quite well. The reception is quite good too.

So invites are unlimited.

I finsihed off the current list with the exception of phre68.

phre68 sent someone a PM so his email was not availble for me to send an invite.
