Salary survey sites?

I'm expecting a job offer next week, and I need to do some quick salary research. I did some googling, and didnt' come up with anything really useful - the sites I found want me to plug in my own data and then pay to see a summation of everyone else's. I've looked at Monster, DICE, Salary.com and a couple others, and they're just too generic.

I'm looking for data in the IT field; my background is in Unix, [Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux] C/C++, shell scripting, Perl, and most importantly for this position, OpenView.

Have fun with OpenView, we just installed NNM 2 weeks ago. I'm still trying to figure it out. Sorry no help on your question.

I've been using OVO for years, NNM off and on. I worked for HP OpenView for several years.

Those sites are worthless imo. I've never had one even come close to what my "real" positions have always paid. Look them straight in the eye and tell them what it takes to hire you . I'm dead serious...

We're mostly a BMC shop, but we're trying out NNM for node outage corelation.
