My question is what the heck does Lemond have to do with it in the first place? Man I remember really looking up to him when I was a kid, but he seems to have a chip on his shoulder for any American Cyclist that has been successful.

Crazy. The whole thing is like a soap opera. The guy is an amazing athlete and they ALL "toe the line" between what is and is not legal at that level of competition. Even Lance did. They're still 5x the athlete I could ever hope to be, but just sayin'.

Is there a skeleton or two in Landis' closet. . . somewhere? Probably. No more or less so than any other world-class athlete. Did he intentionally violate rules to give himself an unfair advantage? Very doubtful. I think the guy is legit, but that's just one guy's opinion.

So, the attorney phones Lemond, pretends to be the uncle (that sexually abused Lemond), and threatens to reveal the sexual acts that he forced on Lemond, as a 6 year old.
What a piece of garbage - the lawyer should be disbarred, not just "immediately fired".

Far be it for me to defend a lawyer but the truth is Will Geoghegan, Landis' manager threatened to reveal the secret if LeMond showed up to testify not his lawyer.
