I gotta crow a bit..
Guys, as many of you know...I'm 63 years old. Bad eyes (20-400 corrected to who knows). But, Cindy & I, just for fun, go play "bar box" (bar table...coin op) pool...maybe a couple of hours per week.
So tonight, a guy in his 20's comes in as we're playing. He insists on challenging the table. We'd have really just preferred to have kept playing each other. An old couple, just out having fun together, you know? No choice, bar honor, I had to play him. His cue case carried several cues. First game, he was using a custom "sneaky" cue, which looks like a bar cue....it had pro taper shaft, probably 12.5mm...couldn't figure out the tip. I spanked him...8 ball. Throughout the game, he tried to get trickier than he really was, shape wise. He'd often leave himself in bad shape. So, when I sunk the 8, he was pissed...an old man wearing thick glasses? Geeze...what an insult to this young (wannabe) shark! Next, he brings his "serious" cue out of his case...gee, I must have been an opponent he didn't count on? So, he racks 'em...I break, make one...then two, three, four, and five....Arrgh! I miss. Again, he tries to impress beyond his skill...often screwing himself with shape, but having great aim. Gee...he scratched trying to make the 8! Missed the 8, rolled the cue ball in a pocket. Yep, just bragging...but he then left the place.... Damn! Just another moment of fun memories for this old guy to place in his grey matter.

Haha, that's great. I'm glad I'm not a young no-it-all punk anymore.

It gets to that level? I'll just set up a money match...I'd back this guy. He'd drive down if the money was right.I feel good running 5 balls....Matt is disappointed when he doesn't run 5 or 6 racks.
