Once you become educated and well-read, a newfound depth of vocabulary allows for a far more concise and sometimes artistic expression.

Another interesting benefit is that you become a Republican. If you're really smart, a Libertarian.

ALL liberals I know lack depth of knowledge on any issue and generally rely on finger pointing and one-liners, topic jumping, and general "feelings" to prove their point. They are idealists who, when faced with the facts, ignore them. Impossible to debate with people like that.

Yew guyz R the moore smarterest peapole eye no!

I am constantly amused by the fact that most of us love cars, motorcycles, guns, knifes, guitars, watches, cigars, good food/booze, dogs/cats, and we can go on for pages sharing the finer points of any of those subjects but let us disagree on a political stance and the person on the other side of the keyboard becomes a complete idiot.

It doesn't take a "political stance" for me to believe that your a serious "idiot."

You, Sir, exhibit a certain "Articulativeness".

My only nit is I feel some, not all, liberals are intellectual somnambulates.

I could be wrong ;)

nutzz..

You accuse the so-called liberals of precisely what many of them see as the most glaring fault with the far right: Inability to think independently lest they be "thrown out of the club" or under the bus. So-called "Extreme Right Wingers" always have to find someone to be at fault; never from their own group, just someone to point at and say "He did it." Although neither extreme myself, I never fail to be amused at just how similar both extremes are and both incapable of recognizing it!!!

I will take that as a complement, coming from a fellow member of such an august group as the PPOT Club.

It is an honor, sir, to be so named.

Jim727 05-23-2007 02:48 PM

Doesn't one need to master Truthiness prior to aspiring to Articulativeness?

....although, I have seen buses with a lot of articulativeness.

All I can say is that I never used to drink quite so much.

Dude. World War II? Battle of the Bulge. That was the reply of the US commander (of a besieged town) to the German commander... who didn't understand what the reply meant. The Americans were able to fight off the Germans until Patton showed up and kicked hienie in his usual fashion.
