Shuie, back in the day, I owned a 100w MkII Super Lead - Im sure at least one of those is such a beast, pehaps second from left- and ONE quaddie. As Im sure you know, there is only one way to run these bastards, and after "4" they dont get any louder anyway. This amp was too loud in all but the biggest rooms and impossible to mix. It also had a propensity to burst into flames and/or kill quad boxes. So I supplemented it with a 50w and another quaddie as a backup. On one occasaion I diasy chained them, just for the hell of it. Just the once. Your picture has given me a chuckle this morning. I can only assume you live alone? In the mountains?

Those are not mine. They belong to a friend. The big boxes are probably either JTM100s or MKIIs, Im not sure. I don't know much about 100 watt Marshalls. I can't even imagine how loud this rig is in an enclosed space, but I'm pretty sure the day this picture was taken is a day that nobody in that neighborhood will ever forget. I used to have a 50 watt small box head that I used with a late '60s 8x10 cabinet and a JTM45 that I used with a single 4x12 and both setups moved too much air to be used in anything smaller than a warehouse.

Pathetic. You and Victor should start an online self help forum.

The hunt is half the fun. From there on, I think of it as a "catch and release" program. I seem to be catching more than I am releasing at the moment.
