I have to say that I'm glad that this forum exists and especially for the fact that I do not have to pay to use it.

I do buy 95% of my Porsche parts from our host, but I don't have to pay to get the information in the threads, tech articles, diagrams, ect. Its just nice to benefit from what Wayne and his crew are providing us. Yes its marketing for thier business, but I did buy the 101 Projects for your 911 before I knew Pelican Parts or its forums existed.

Frankly, I like the way it is and I especially appreciate it when the forums run quick and smoothly.

My $0.02,
Matt

My conection is 2500 bytes per second. Real slow!!! Please don't add huge avitars

I think it would be nice if the indiacator showing how many people were in chat on the 944 board worked.

Keep up the good work.

Love this forum!

I would like the mouse-over preview thingy though BUT not at the expense of speed.

I agree the forum is great, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved. Sort of like George W Bush, but that's another thread.

I also agree with 'no changes that would bog the system down'.

He could also add Boxster and 911 to the spell check list.

i don't like the fact that you cannot do quick, consecutive searches... if i threw a typo and hit 'search', then i have to wait 60seconds to press search again??? c'mon...

also, since the site (company?) started out as a 911-based thing, how about putting the most relevant (911 tech, p-car classifieds, and OT ) forums at the top of that scrolling list instead of buried deep within?

Yes, that search thing is annoying. I guess there's a valid reason. I just don't know what it is.

Finally, something we can all agree on. But no moderators.

Insert gratuitous nudity (female) photo here....
