I've driven a 348 and it didn't do much for me. My 993 is faster, cheaper, more reliable, sounds and looks better. Now a 355 is a different story.

Ole CW Slage told me something interesting yesterday at the Beinfield. He said, "If U owe the Bank a little they own U. If U owe the Bank alot you owe them." Something to ponder.

Bull puckry! Financial happiness is when you quit paying interest to others, and have others pay interest to you. My labor of this day? Moving sprinklers about the lawn. Money earned? About a grand...Not bad for a kid who barely graduated from high screw-all.

The 348 is a fun car, has nice styling. I had to laugh when someone above said the 993 sounds better! .....

The 348 is not particularily fast, nor is a 355 (because they are hard to drive) but they sure look nice and have great motor sounds.

The 355 is far better looking (especially a TB) than a 360 in my opinion....

But, price out a service on one, that will keep you driving P-cars!

Cheers

The one 348 I have heard was pure sex, not much can compete with that sound. Styling is very iffy, at least to me, I prefer the 308/328 (cheaper too), or the 360 (not so cheap).

Austin, you do realize that you only have one option here, right? Picking up a new 599 will wipe the smug smile off of your neighbor's face.
