I heard that his blood smells like cologne...that the police pull him in to question him just because they find him interesting...

Don't know enough about him, but assuming Tom Tancredo won't be a serious contender, he's just as good as anyone else in the race I suppose.

He's certainly better than any of the yokels the Democrats are putting forward. Better than most of the Republicans too.

you guys?

I think it's funny. The whole nostalgia thing, simpler times, Ozzie & Harriet, Leave it to Beaver, white men in charge of everything, TV actors as President.

I really think Eddie Murphy would be a great President. He has played a lobster, Gumby, broccoli, cops, crooks, fat people, old Jewish guys, women, street hustler, commodies broker, doctor, Congressman, etc. Talk about qualified! Gee, I wonder where he stands on abortion, flag burning, and the Pledge of Allegience?

Actually, George Carlin would make an outstanding president. If you've read any of his books ("Brain Droppings", most notably) you'd realize that the man is actually a friggin' genius.

He'd cut through a lot (if not all) of the crap too. Shoot, if the Terminator can become governor, why can't the "Seven Dirty Words" guy become president?

Carlin/Thompson. There's a ticket I'd support.

Two additional interesting facts. His best friend in the Senate is John McCain and they have almost identical voting records. The only difference is that McCain's voting percentage is slightly more conservative than Thompson's.

Over the period when Thompson was in I would believe that. McCain used to be very conservative(ranked most conservative a few times in the 80's I think) but has since wandered off the reservation.

Yep, McCain has since "seen the light" and realized the power that he wields by handing out the voter's money.
